SICK, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of sensors, safety systems and automatic identification products for industrial applications, today announced it has been accepted into the Supplier Membership Category within the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute Network (PMMI).

In this historical, first-time vote, members of PMMI voted that 'key suppliers' to the Packaging Industry may be allowed to join. SICK was voted as one of only 13 suppliers to this industry's OEMs within North America. The membership recognizes SICK, Inc. as an important supplier in Industrial Sensors, Safety Guard Systems and Auto ID Products.

The Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI) is a trade association whose more than 500 general members manufacture packaging and packaging-related converting machinery in the United States and Canada.
