The LGT is a Saftey Light Grid according to IEC 61496, Type 2 for safe protection for fingers, hands and personnel, e.g. at packaging equipment, assembly lines, revolving transfer machines, paternoster storage systems, palletisers and for safeguarding doors and gates.

One complete Light Grid System consists of sender unit, receiver unit, control unit and two connection cables.
