Features shared by the UE4120, UE4150 and UE4155:

• 8 × 2 field signal terminals for connecting active and passive, single- or dual-channel, safety components up to Control Category 4, in accordance with EN954-1 and SIL3, in accordance with IEC61508.
• Simple configuration and diagnostic with the help of CDS (Configuration & Diagnostic Software) based on Windows
• Offline system configuration possible without failsafe PLC
• Supports PROFIBUS DP V1
• Supports PROFIsafe V1.20 10/2002

Additional features of the UE4150:
The UE4150 has the same functions as the UE4120, but with the following additional features:

• Two (2) Safety Data Link (SDL) connectors for connection of SICK intelligent safety sensors (e.g. C4000 Safety Light Curtains and S3000 Safety Laser Scanners)
• Configuration and diagnostic information of SICK intelligent safety sensors may be gathered via local RS-232c port on the UE4150 / UE4155 or via the PROFIsafe network configuration tool with the corresponding .GSD file.

Additional features of the UE4155:
SICK UE4155 devices have the same features of the UE4150 and also expanded functional capability for integration of bidirectional communication between the UE4155 and SICK intelligent sensors such as C4000 Safety Light Curtains and S3000 Safety Laser Scanners. This additional functionality is implemented through optional function package software.
